Today, we talk about the return of International Entrepreneur Parole, a new (and old) program that allows international startup founders to live and work legally and build their companies in the United States.

This is fantastic, incredible news for startup founders around the world. Whether you’re in the U.S. or not, whether you’ve ever had an H1-B, working visa, or student F1 visa or not – it doesn’t matter – you can still qualify for this program if you meet the requirements.

The International Entrepreneur Parole is not a visa. It’s not a green card. The way the law is written is very flexible. They want to support international startup founders to build companies because they know this is a job creation engine for the United States. We all know our economy has hit some bumps in the road with COVID, and so anything we can do to create jobs would be beneficial for this program, our country, and the world.

In this episode, you’ll hear about:

  • An overview of the International Entrepreneur Parole
  • Why it’s both a new and old program at the same time
  • Who qualifies for this program
  • Some information you need to provide when you’re going through this process
  • Can you still get a green card? Is change of status possible?
